Collaborations

eye-eye-eye's productions are shaped through collaboration. Each project brings together artists, designers, musicians, and creators whose contributions enrich and affirm the vision of the work. Artistic direction orchestrates these contributions within a shared composition, where each practice fully deploys its own qualities.

Artistic Director

A scenographer and director, Augustin Rioux has worked in theatre, dance, and opera. He has also served as a film editor and pursues a practice as a visual artist. This intersecting trajectory forms the terrain he draws from: an embodied knowledge of the expressive possibilities and technical realities specific to each of these fields. His approach to writing is protean, shaped by this same plurality. Through his writing, these different forms come together to compose a single narrative. That narrative, in turn, is carried by a dramaturgy that gives it its underlying coherence. The result is a richer, more layered understanding of the piece.
